Your high-school Spanish will not make the grade in Buenos Aires, a great idea is a jump by learning these five words which might be used time and time again in Argentine Spanish. Just like American English is unique from British English, Argentine Spanish is quite totally different from the Spanish you're employed to hearing in the US or Europe. Their verb endings borrow a great deal from Italian, and even more importantly, their slang can, in the beginning, seem cryptic.
