Vacation to Morocco

Travel guide to save money on vacation to Morocco

Picture
It doesn’t have to be expensive to visit Morocco. It’s relatively cheap! Where travelers get it wrong is they eat Western meals, fancy food, and grow in expensive riads. If you avoid doing that, you'll save a lot of income. Here are methods for saving money in Morocco:
  • Eat from street stalls
It’s an easy task to eat well cheaply in Morocco. While restaurant meals can typically cost less than 30 MAD ($3 USD), street foods are even less expensive.
For just a few dollars, it is possible to indulge in delicious kebabs, sausages, barbecued corn within the cob, hot roasted chicken, and huge sandwiches, among a great many other tasty options. Stick to eating on the local markets from the medina and you’ll spend hardly any money on food.
  • Negotiate your cab fare
Be sure to negotiate an amount before you get to the taxi. There aren’t set prices and you’ll should bargain hard.
  • Avoid faux guides
Faux guides (or false guides) will linger inside medinas and provides you tour services. Be forceful in saying no thank you and keep walking away. They are persistent and definitely will eventually quit if you keep walking!
  • Be careful of thieves
Petty theft, mostly involving wallets, watches, and cameras, is prevalent inside crowded medinas throughout the country so stay alert and your valuables beyond sight. Don’t leave with most things that is too valuable being replaced!
  • Avoid drinking
Even though drinking is frowned upon within the country, you are able to still find a lot of places that let you drink. They are overpriced (since alcohol will not be common here) and also the drinks aren’t that good. Avoid drinking on your visit, reduce costs, and align yourself more detailed local norms.
  • Couchsurf
Nothing’s less than sleeping without cost and Couchsurfing connects you with locals which will give you really not a free accommodations as well as become your local guide. There’s an exceptionally small Couchsurfing community here within the big cities. You won’t look for a lot of hosts but when you look far enough beforehand, many times someone.
