  • The Pompey Museum
Built before 1796 and named as the slave Pompey, who lived within the settlement Stevenson, was initially used as being a marketplace before late 1800. Unfortunately slaves were one of several commodities purchased in this building. There is usually a permanent exhibit displaying the experiencing of slaves inside the Bahamas. At present the Pompey
Museums is under renovation after having suffered two major fires. In 2001 and much more recently 2011.
  • ​The Bahamas Historical Society Museum
This museum locality is around the corner of Shirley St and Elizabeth Ave. It holds series historical anthropological and archaeological artifacts, that span over 500 numerous Bahamian history.
  • Queen's Staircase
One of Nassau favorite attraction is the Queen Staircase. The staircase has 65 steps, carved from solid limestone by slaves, with axes and chisel from the 1700s, between 1793 and 1794. The 102 foot staircase named in honor from the 65 numerous years of Queen Victoria's Reign. This monument is called 66 steps, and it's also east from the Fort and below Bennet hill.​
  • ​​Straw Market
​Nassau favorite and most used tourist spot, is a place where you could buy all kinds of souvenirs, straw basket, hats, necklaces, wrap skirts, dresses and T Shirts along with touristic apparel. This building houses over 600 venders, plus a place where one can bargain for which you desire.
  • ​Government House
Built in 1806 by Governor Richard Fitzwilliam. It's site is on Mont Fitzwilliam with a 10 acre parcel. The statue of Christopher Columbus still guards the northern entrance of government house. At the two sides entrance officers through the Defence Force provide to protect his residence. At the rear of this residence is really a large garden with lots of kinds of palm trees and plants.
  • ​Gregory Arch
Built during 1850 in memory of Governor John Gregory, it opened for the public on 19th January 1852. This arch is beside Government House and Market Street. Nassau is north on the arch as well as a place we call above the hill is South. Farmers took their crops to Vendue House using a cart pulled using a Donkey, about this same ancient street.
  • ​Forts Armaments
All forts in New Providence had weaponry or Battery. The Canons as well as the Canon Howitzers used a number of ball sizes. The cannon balls were held in an oven that made them hot, and once fired in to a ship, it'd penetrate and explode in flames.
