For a leisurely train ride into Swansea, the Great 
Western  Trains provides a comprehensive regular plan to Swansea Station on the London Paddington Station. The regular stops along the way cover Neath, Port Talbot Parkway, Bridgend, Cardiff Central, Newport, Bristol Parkway, Swindon and Reading.
Arriva Trains supplies a service through the Cardiff International Airport to Swansea, having a change at Bridgend. Arriva also offers a site that runs Swansea's west routes. Make sure to seat for the left side several views of surrounding countryside. On the other hand, if enjoying spectacular landscape is essential to you, a train ride within the popular Heart of Wales Line will probably be something to recollect. The line travels from Swansea for the historic Shrewsbury. The ride takes around three hours and 40 minutes, with regular trips from Swansea.
Visitors from Cork, Ireland regularly visit the location throughout the Swansea-Cork Ferries. There are six ferries that travel for the city once a week, except during autumn and winter if your schedule is reduced. Meanwhile, private boats can be moored at Swansea Marina, that's 750 berths.
  • Traveling in Swansea​
Once inside Swansea, one of the most convenient way of travel are buses and taxis. Raking the actual bus can also be an easy way go around the location. There are two Park and Ride systems that travelers can decide in the National Park and Ride Directory. One of the systems is at Landore about the A4067 even though the other is for the Fabian Way on A483, located around the main artery while you enter Swansea on the M4 (junction 42). The bus systems will be in service from 6:45 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. from Monday to Saturday.
  • Suburbs of Swansea
In addition, the First Bus Company provides services that connect the many suburbs of Swansea in addition to surrounding suburbs, like the Gower Peninsula. There are also links for the historic railway station of Swansea. Meanwhile, from Mumbles, tourists can take bus to:

  4. Newton,
  5. Caswell.
Taxis are rich in town centre, specifically, at the Railway Station and St. Mary's church.
  • Tourist information centers
For additional information about Swansea, visitors may inquire at many of the town's tourist information centers. The main one is found on Plymouth Street for the city centre, right across the actual bus station. Maps, tourist site info and accommodation reservation services can be obtained.
The other tourist information center for vacation to Swansea is found near to the Methodist Church on Mumbles Road.
